How our directory works.
Common Kingdom connects people with Christian-owned businesses across the United States. Basic listings are free. Optional paid extras may be introduced later; they will not be required for a basic listing.
Ownership and permission
The business owner or an authorized representative must affirm Christian ownership and permission to publish the supplied business information. We review submissions before publication. Christian ownership is self-declared; we do not claim to certify anyone’s faith.
Review and accuracy
Listings should describe a real U.S. business, use accurate contact information, and avoid misleading claims. Submitting does not guarantee approval. We may request corrections or remove inaccurate listings. Inclusion is not an endorsement or verification of licensing, insurance, service quality, or legal compliance. Check these details with the business before hiring.
What we save and display
We save your submission in the site’s database so the owner can review and manage it. Approved profiles display the business name, street address, town, state, ZIP code, map location, category, description, services, website, and any supplied public phone number. The owner’s name, church attendance, and review notes stay private. The church the owner attends is required for review and is not displayed on public profiles. Contact email is used for review and appears publicly only if you select that option.
Submissions awaiting review and rejected listings are not shown in the public directory. We retain submission and review records to manage listings. We display a cumulative profile view count for approved businesses. Opening a profile from a listing card or map pin records a view; this is not a count of unique people, leads, purchases, or contact clicks. Random event identifiers prevent duplicate counting of retried requests. Limited hashed connection data is used to prevent repeated submissions and reduce automated inflation of view counts; it is not displayed publicly.
Addresses and the map
A public business street address and ZIP code are required. Submit only an address you have permission to publish, including for a home-based business. We send business address details to the U.S. Census Bureau’s geocoding service to estimate a map location. Church and contact details are not sent for address lookup. The directory owner reviews map locations before publication and can correct them. Locations are approximate; confirm the address before visiting.
The interactive map uses OpenStreetMap tiles. Loading it makes requests to OpenStreetMap’s servers, which receive your connection information. Existing listings without address details remain in the directory while their map location is completed.
Changes and removal
To request a correction or removal, contact the person who invited you to Common Kingdom. If you have not yet connected with the directory owner, do not submit personal contact information until you have a way to reach them. A dedicated support contact will be added before broader recruitment.
